This lovely human is Kiah Knutson. Kiah is one of my best friends. Recently Kiah decided to set a goal & to shoot for something BIG and HIGH. If you don't know Kiah she has been running with the nonprofit organization called Team World Vision for over 8 years. Team World Vision has been something that is not only helping MILLIONS of kiddos around the world, but after Kiah's Dad's death this was her outlet. Her community. Her way to connect with God and to heal. Team World Vision has CHANGED her life- (and continues to...)

Kiah wants to hike Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa. Mount Kilimanjaro or "Kili" is the highest mountain in Africa, about 4,900 meters from its base, and 5,895 meters above sea level. More importantly, she wants to get 100 children sponsored through World Vision in order to go on this incredible event of a lifetime by providing children with hope, healthcare, education...a future!

Kiah came to some close friends about this crippling fear. She wants to go on this adventure and go out of her comfort zone to get children sponsored. However- this fear is crippling her, because she financially is not capable of paying for the trip. Her goal literally scares her to the point of inducing panic attacks.

THE GOAL: To get 100 children sponsored. If she can get 60 kids sponsored her trip will be paid for by World Vision. BUT there are deadlines. One of the deadlines happens to be this Sunday (9/ 30/18) - she needs $700 deposit to secure a spot on this trip. so...she needs help. Right now as I'm typing this out it comes to my mind that many of you may be wondering "why $6,500?" As a friend of Kiah's and someone who believes so deeply in her- I want her to go on this trip no matter what it takes. That means thinking of the bad and the good. The bad meaning- she's gotta hit her deadlines for sponsors and getting money in on time. We are creating gofundme page to help with whatever funds we can in order to make this dream come to life & to provide hopeful future for those in need.
