Hello,
I have been invited to attend the European Discovery trip as a People to People Student Ambassador in the Summer of 2015. In order to attend this trip i must raise a total of $5000.
About me:
My name is Kayla Boyland and i am an eleventh year IB student at Hyde Park Academy. In addition to being an International Baccalaureate student (IB) , I am also student council president of the Class of 2016, and a part of my school's Academic Decathlon team.
About the People to People Organization:
This organization was founded in 1956 by president Eisenhower. Their mission is to "bridge cultural and political borders through education and exchange, creating global citizens and making the world a better place for future generations."
This program will allow me to partake in global community service, engage in extracurricular activities abroad, and provide a mix of cultural and educational experiences as well as unforgettable new adventures.
