Karen's Mission Trip to Uganda

I really and truly have always felt a desire to go to Africa. To see the need there, and really feel like I could be a (small) part of something. It was always a distant dream, but this summer, I want to make it a reality!

Sozo Children is an amazing Christian organization based out of Alabama that is doing BIG things in Uganda. They are raising 78 children in Christian homes with Ugandan parents, and are supporting another 37 children, which is a total of 115 kids! They send them to school, feed them 3 meals a day, and give them so much love!


On a missions trip with Sozo, I will be living in one of the three houses with the children. I will be a part of their daily lives, and help with household chores. Also, they are starting the process of building The Village, which will be an amazing place for the children and staff to live! It will also include a school, church, and many other buildings that will be used to impact the community.


This is such an amazing experience, and I would love your support to help me go to Uganda with Sozo Children. However, if you are not in a place to give financially, I would LOVE your prayers for my journey and the organization!
