My mom, Karen (McCully) Carson has always been the strongest woman I know.  She is a hard worker, caring, kind and would never hurt a fly.

It breaks my heart that she has been diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer.  Bile Duct Cancer with a significant tumour in her liver, as well as smaller nodules have formed in her stomach, gallbladder and pancreas.

She immediately has to give up her business which is her only form of income and at this time does not have any medical insurance.  She will be looking at Chemotherapy as a treatment option at this time, hoping to shrink the large tumor in order to be able to have surgery to remove it.  We do know that there will be numerous expenses associated with:
>Travel to Calgary for medical appointments,
>Medications
>Living expenses,
>a few things on her bucket list, such as a trip back east to New Brunswick to see family and friends and a weekend trip to the mountains/hot springs
>and her final expenses.

We would appreciate any donation, no matter how small, if you are able to help out in any way it will help her greatly not have the extra burden of worrying about finances at this time.
