Send Kailani to South Africa with ROV

Hello everyone! I have recently been accepted into the Reach Out Volunteer program in South Africa for this December. The majority of my time will be spent in the Drakensberg region working with "vulnerable children", orphans, and about twelve different families suffering hardship in the local community. My team and I will be building facilities for these children; schoolrooms, chreches, and dorms to help keep them warm and safe at night. We will also be working/teaching with the families on how to establish their own small industry by raising goats. I will also have a short excursion into the neighboring country of Lesotho where we will do some camping and nature exploring.

I am currently a Building Construction Management student at Purdue University. This once in a lifetime opportunity would not only give me exposure to a different side of construction, but it will also make positive differences in the lives of those I will be working with, not to mention my own.
