KYC - Kenya Water Well Initiative

As KeyStone youth located in Mt. Prospect Illinois, we have made the decision to start off our voluntary journey to help our brothers and sisters in need. This project will be the first of many as we believe in the power of the youth, unity, and community to take these initiatives to unimaginable lengths.
Our unity and idea of collaboration can open more doors than one can imagine. For this project, it only takes $3,000 to build a well in Kenya. Our goal is to start up 3 wells by the end of summer 2021, the total cost of these wells will be $9,000, the added $300 is the transfer fee of funds. No matter the donation, your hand will be holding someone else’s. One person at a time, one gift at a time, the world can become a better place not just for us, but for the coming generations that will walk in our footsteps.
We won’t get anywhere just standing in place, we won’t see the blossoms of fruits unless we take care of them, we won’t be living if all we do is try to survive in life. Let’s keep looking forward and conquer this mountain of poverty. This world is better with Unity. Let us all pray for all communities, all religions, and all those with differentiating beliefs to come together as ONE.

*** Keystone Youth center is a sub-organization under the Turkish American Society of Chicago. Our team will be partnering with the Omeriye Foundation of Kenya to bring this project to life. Funds will be directly transferred over to Omeriye Foundation through the account holder Talha Ayhan, a representative member of our organization.
