Incarcerated Worker Johnny Lee Young in WI

Donation protected
Johnny Lee Young is an incarcerated LGBTQIAA+ person at Waupun Correctional Facility in Wisconsin. They have a very limited set of resources and no contact with their family of origin. They are serving a life sentence.
This is particularly difficult owing to the legacy of former Gov. Scott Walker, whose hard right agenda has targeted incarcerated people in a way to increase profits for particular vendors that profit off the prison-industrial complex.
For instance, gifts can only be sent to an incarcerated person if they come out of a property catalog that has increased prices. A hand towel costs $6.30 and a bath towel costs $10.25!
Another complication is that the State of Wisconsin is deducting from any money that is wired to him fines and fees connected to his court costs.
My name is Andrew Stewart. I have been corresponding with Johnny over the past year after being connected with them through Black and Pink. I've been able to help them out where I can but things have been limited by my own low-income situation.

Johnny is asking for a tablet that will allow them to use email, listen to music, surf the web, and do other basic things.
I want to run this as a test and see what sort of response we get. If there's a way to build a sustainable network for Johnny perhaps this could be the beginning of a larger solidarity project on another platform. Leave comments below if you'd be interested in something like that.
