JS Community Pool: $50,000 for 50 Years

Do you have some great memories of spending warm summer days in the Jersey Shore Community Pool? Were you a summer swim team member? Maybe you loved the late night Dip and Dances? Does the song “Copacabana” still bring back memories of cannon balls in the deep end and the smell of Chlorine and coconut oil?
What an asset the Jersey Shore Area Pool has been to our community for the last 50 years. From children 3 months old to adults over 90 years old, thousands of people from our community and outlying areas have enjoyed this wonderful pool. In addition to the regular pool use, the pool has provided our community opportunities for swimming lessons, water aerobics, swim team membership, pool party events, and the recreation program.
After fifty years the Jersey Shore Community Pool is still going strong, but it needs your support. There are many needed repairs to keep the pool open and beautiful.
A dedicated and motivated committee has established an Anniversary Campaign called “$50,000 for 50 Years” to raise $50,000 over the next two years to cover all the necessary repairs and improvements to the pool.
If you value the happy memories you were able to have at the pool, either as a swim team member, a part of the pool staff or one of the tens of thousands of smiling patrons over the years, please consider supporting the pool financially. We are accepting donations in all denominations so that future generations in the Jersey Shore area have a chance to make wonderful memories too! If you are interested in corporate giving, all donations are tax deductible upon request!
