Jenny's move to Los Angeles, CA!

My move to Los Angeles has been a long time coming. It is one of the most important (and scariest) career decisions I've ever had to make. But it's also a rather exciting one.

I have lived in Miami, Florida all my life and have found myself longing for bigger and better things. (NOTE: I fully realize that I am going to struggle like everyone else and don't expect a red carpet to be rolled out for me the second I land at LAX (though that would be fun). I plan to work my ass off, network, take classes, and CREATE AWESOME SHITE!) My dream is to produce and perform comedy. Whether it be writing for a Nickelodeon cartoon series or make funnies on The Groundlings stage. It's all about working from the ground up.





Now, here's where your help comes in. Seeing as I sacrifice a lot to work on my personal interweb/film projects, my finances aren't up to par and I have about a year to save money (and with bills and student loans in the way, it can be quite difficult). My goal is to save enough money in order to survive in the wild wild west until I land a decent job. I have done a fair amount of research and based on friends who have already ventured over there, a cushion of $5,000 is your best bet and basically a must. It's enough to last you a couple of months while you job hunt/network.

I am moving by the summer of 2014. No ifs, ands or buts about it. I need to take my future by the butt cheeks and kick it into high gear! I know I have no fancy fundraiser video at the moment, but you can visit my website and check out what I pour my blood, sweat and tears into.
