Jax Florez Education Fund
Spende geschützt
Jax’s wonderful and devoted father, James Florez, lost his battle with colon and liver cancer on June 17, 2016. James was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer when Jax was two and a half years of age and immediately went into proactive mode to learn everything he could about the disease and to make the best decisions for his healthcare and his family. The cancer spread into his liver and rose to Stage 4. James was determined to overcome it. After surgeries and chemotherapy, he became cancer free for 15 months. However, the cancer came back with a vengeance in May 2016.
James had a deep passion for education. He was a graduate of Texas A&M University. After nearly eight years, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree, working his way through college as a jailer and police officer to not only pay for his own education but also for two of his sister’s college education.
Jax is now four and a half and James and his wife Heidi had in-depth discussions about Jax’s education. Heidi has a full-time career and will do everything she can to support Jax and herself, so that Jax can have as much of a normal life as possible including a quality higher education. However, due to numerous medical bills, we ask for your support to contribute funds for Jax’s college education. All donations made will go solely and specifically into Jax’s 529 College Savings Plan.
With great appreciation from friends of the Florez Family,
