Since my inaugural Global Citizen leap in 2007, venturing to Japan as a participant in the Japanese Exchange & Teaching Programme, I have been enamored with the cultural richness of our dynamic Global Community. Fast forward 4 years and 16 countries later, I am NOW eager to undertake my greatest international endeavor yet. I have recently been selected to join The Amani Institute's inaugural Social Entrepreneurship & Peacebuilding leadership class in Nairobi, Kenya this summer. This unique 6 week program is not only perfectly aligned with my journey of inspiration and entrepreneurship, but also an accurate reflection of the socially impactful work that has defined my time in Denver (where I am currently located), thus far.
My motivation behind launching a fundraiser for this opportunity arose from my growing desire to take ALL limits off and relentlessly pursue the dreams and passions that I live and breath. Furthermore, by stepping out on faith in pursuit of such an endeavor I hope to empower others to live life as close to their dreams as possible.
Your support will help me cover the expenses associated with the TRAILBLAZING program, including:
- The Amani Institute's Social Entrepreneurship Program Tuition
- Room & Board
- Roundtrip Airfare to and from Nairobi, Kenya
- All Necessary Vaccinations
I have already been awarded a small scholarship from The Amani Institute, so I simply need your assistance in helping to close the gap in my funding.
