Stolen Airstream Home

Hello kind folks, we need some help.
Our dream and vision, which we put 6 months of love, labor, sweat, blood, and many, many tears into, was stolen from us. In July of 2015 we decided to downsize our life and build a tiny home for our three dogs and us to live in. We bought a vintage Airstream trailer and began the arduous and tumultuous task of tearing it down to the frame and building our little home by hand, piece by piece. It was our dream, it brought us so close together, we worked on it side by side whenever we had free time from our full time jobs. It was never easy, in fact for both of us it was the most difficult endeavor we'd taken on, yet so rewarding in knowing that our united goal and dream was being built together. We did it all together, and all by ourselves.

Our home was about 75% complete when Joshua came back from work one night in early December and it was just gone.... our home, stolen. The feeling of pure helplessness was overwhelming. An empty parking lot, fractured locks, and cinder blocks scattered where our future home previously rested. We went door to door looking for clues and information. We obtained video surveillance from surrounding businesses of the theft but with no clear visual of a license plate number the police were of no assistance. We've spent weekends combing LA neighborhoods hoping to find clues. We're constantly thumbing through Craigslist, eBay, Airstreamclassifides, and googling "Airstream for sale" but we've found nothing. After months of searching, it's time to reach out for assistance. We put $40,000 into our home at the time it was stolen. We are not wealthy, but working folks who decided our dream was worth taking out a large loan to realize.

We are for asking for your help, hoping that you can contribute in order for us to neutralize the $40,000 loan we are still responsible for, a constant reminder of what was lost, but moreso a glimpse of a dream worth fighting for. Yes, we really need the financial support, but what we really need is to get to a place where we can afford to dream again, and move forward onto the next project that we believe in.
