It Takes a Village X 2

Dearest family, friends, colleagues and community members, There are no words to express the sadness that a mother feels when she loses a child.  Now imagine losing both of your children in less than one year.  It is baffling as to why this would happen to anyone.  

It is with a heavy heart, great sadness, shock and disbelief  that  I write  to you about this "It Takes  A Village X2"  fundraiser, once again for my dear friend and coworker, Shelly Green.  

Shelly lost her second son, Antonio unexpectedly on Sunday, July 24,2016 at the tender age of 19. Antonio was a sweet, smart, gentle and lovely young man.  He was also heartbroken when his older brother, Dante passed away last year.   They are now together, watching over their dearest mother, Shelly. 

There are no words that can express our pain and sadness to Shelly but she has shared with me personally, that she feels the communal love carrying her, lifting her, protecting her from this tragic loss of her youngest child, Antonio.  It is our love, our prayers, our help that is keeping her afloat. Please give generously, if you can.  If 300 of us donate $100 each  we can reach the $30,000 goal. Every single donation makes a difference and is greatly appreciated. 

  As you imagine, Shelly is still recovering from Dante's passing emotionally, psychologically, spiritually and financially.  Now she has to heal from Antonio's passing as well.   Let us collectively lift this financial struggle out of Shelly's hands, so that she can focus on her healing and well being. 

Every single donation will send a message to Shelly that she  and her boys are love and that they are  in the hearts and minds of our community.
