Isaiah House Fresh Produce Fund

Tax deductible
This is Sam. Sam Moses has been Head  Cook at Isaiah House, a non-profit homeless shelter in East Orange, since 2007. Sam loves cooking healthy, nutritious meals for the up to 100 residents of Isaiah House. Hot meals are served 365 days a year but Sam has a challenge.

Most meals are prepared using canned and frozen vegetables, the only ingredients Isaiah House can afford on their limited budget. Fresh fruit and vegetables are a delicacy.

Many of the Isaiah House "guests" have health problems, including HIV/ AIDS. Some are pregnant or new mothers. Many children live at Isaiah House and rely on Sams meals for their daily nutrition. Healthy ingredients are critical to their recovery and and future success.

Sam is a great cook but with limited ingredients and the absence of fresh produce, producing wholesome meals is a great challenge.

I work with Sam two days a week and can see how much love, respect and effort is put into helping the most needy in our area.

We have set a goal of $250/ week or $12,000/ year for 2018 to help Sam meet this challenge. Won't you join us in helping this very important organization improve the lives of the many people struggling in the  community?

Thank you in advance for your support!

Greatfully,
