Our community lost a bright and happy 8 year old that was so excited to start third grade, to a tragic near drowning. After a week in intensive care, his body was no longer able to overcome the odds he was fighting. Nguyen was a beloved only child. His family is left with tremendous medical and now funeral costs. One cannot fathom their grief, but the stress of their expenses is another burden that all of us that loved this boy will be eternally grateful for any generosity you can share.

Nguyen was a student of mine last year. He touched the lives of all of his teachers and we hope that this campaign will allow us to give this gift to his family. After the initial gift I will turn the fund over to his uncle so that they can pay for any past and future bills. His smile will forever live in our hearts ❤️
