Volunteer India 2014

Donation protected
There are estimated to be a hundred million street children in India. Street children are kids who are unable or unallowed to go to school because they need to work, usually selling items in the streets to make money for their family. These children usually don't get any education and live in conditions unthinkable to most Americans.
Spencer and Whitney (me) will be volunteering in India from August 18, 2014 to Oct 21, 2014. We will spending the first 5 weeks of the trip teaching in the slums in Delhi and the last 3 weeks teaching monk children in Dharmasala, a small Tibetan community. Like would be expected, this is not an inexpensive feat and has required a huge amount of preperation and work.
Spencer and I are paying all our traveling and program expenses on our own.
**However, there is not much money left over to help pay for what the children need when we get there. ANY amount is greatly appreciated and will help pay for school supplies, food and whatever else is needed while we are there. We will be posting what is needed when we get there and where your money is directly going. $5 or $10 goes much farther there than it does here and will help buy school supplies, lunches, clothing and other necessary items for the children we plan on helping.
All money goes directly to the children. Gratitude for your generosity! Namaste.
