Inclusive Canada

Donation protected

Formerly known as RAAR - Rural Alberta Against Racism, Inclusive Canada has since branched out nation-wide to help create opportunities and experiences for all marginalized people across Canada.

Inclusive Canada aims to bring equality through understanding with an experienced educational approach, and equity through our calls-to-action and hands-on work within various communities. We believe that many of our struggles as a society are intersectional: systemic racism, poverty, mental health, women's rights, etc. By opening the door to inclusivity, it allows our advocacy to flow seamlessly through issues surrounding BIPOC, members of the LGBTQ2+ community, those living with disabilities and more.

This time, no one gets left behind.

You donation will go to things such as:

• masks, hand sanitizer and gloves
• water and snacks for protests and community discussions
• gas for guests, volunteers and members traveling throughout the province
• special event insurance or space rental fees when required
• helping families with things such as groceries, transportation, clothing, utility bills, etc.

We love and appreciate everyone so much for the support you have provided us with thus far, and we are looking forward to continuing on this work together in creating systemic change! Keep fighting the good fight, friends.

We acknowledge the traditional territories of the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprising the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations), as well as the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations).  The City of Calgary is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.  I would also like to note that the University of Calgary is situated on land adjacent to where the Bow River meets the Elbow River, and that the traditional Blackfoot name of this place is Moh’kins’tsis, which we now call the City of Calgary.
