Raising Funds To Purchase The Temple (Pro-Templo)

My name is Ashley, and I am a member of the Iglesia Bautista Roca Inconmovible, a Hispanic Baptist church located in Clifton, New Jersey.
The story of our church began in 2013 when the Holy Spirit led our Pastor, Dr. Dario Abimael Astacio, to initiate a Hispanic church of sound doctrine in his hometown in North Jersey. The original congregation consisted of Pastor and his immediate family, but the Lord blessed the establishment, and soon many were joining with a desire to seek God further. However, with such growth came challenges, as Pastor's home could no longer serve as the meeting place for the increasing congregation. Finding a suitable space was difficult as financial challenges also hindered their endeavor.
A small room in Little Falls became the first place where the IBRI took from outside of the Pastor's home. Our church's first ministries began to develop there, and though our time there was fruitful, It too became smaller due to the continuous growth of the congregation. After months of passionate prayer and petition towards the Lord, it pleased him to present us with the temple we currently inhabit; by His amazing grace, we have recently been provided with the opportunity to purchase it.
I've witnessed and participated in numerous events aimed directly toward purchasing the temple (Pro-Templo) throughout my past few years as a member. We've done car washes, food sales, concerts, and haircuts thus far!
There is an evident desire among our congregation to make every effort to assist in purchasing the temple, and we will continue to partake in the fundraising events as the temple holds a heaping $1.4 million price tag.
Alongside our efforts, I felt compelled to use the blessing the internet can be and call on the help of others. If you feel inclined to help further the word of the Lord among Hispanics in Clifton by aiding in the purchase of the temple, please consider donating! Any amount is greatly appreciated.

Mi nombre es Ashley, y soy miembro de la Iglesia Bautista Roca Inconmovible, una iglesia bautista hispana ubicada en Clifton, Nueva Jersey.
La historia de nuestra iglesia comenzó en 2013 cuando el Espíritu Santo guió a nuestro Pastor, Dr. Dario Abimael Astacio, a iniciar una iglesia hispana de sana doctrina en Clifton. La congregación original estaba compuesta por el pastor y su familia inmediata, pero el Señor bendijo el establecimiento y pronto muchos se unieron con el deseo de buscar más a Dios. Sin embargo, con tal crecimiento surgieron desafíos, ya que la casa del pastor ya no podía servir como lugar de reunión para la creciente congregación. Encontrar un espacio adecuado fue difícil ya que los desafíos financieros también obstaculizaron su esfuerzo.

Después de meses de apasionada oración y petición al Señor, le plació presentarnos el templo que habitamos; por Su asombrosa gracia, recientemente se nos ha brindado la oportunidad de comprarlo.
He presenciado y participado en numerosos eventos dedicados a la compra del templo (Pro-Templo) durante mis últimos años como miembro. ¡Hemos hecho lavados de autos, ventas de comida, conciertos y cortes de cabello hasta ahora!
Hay un deseo evidente entre nuestra congregación de hacer todo lo posible para ayudar a comprar el templo, y continuaremos participando en los eventos de recaudación de fondos ya que el templo tiene un precio de $1.4 millones.
