My place of birth and hometown Hyderabad, India, has seen devastating floods in recent days. These floods affected the low lying areas which is mostly occupied by poor neighborhoods and slums. These poor people were already suffering from horrible economic consequences of Covid-19 and now they have lost loved ones, homes, property and in many cases means of earning a livelihood.
The funds generated here will do directly to help make food packs and clean up in the near future and towards repairing the damage caused by the floods to their homes and means of earning. This work is conducted by many volunteers in Hyderabad who are already helping them. They have put together packages and kits to help
Cost of 10 Food Packs that contain food & clean drinking water for a family - $ 50
Cost of 2 Recovery Kits containing dry rations, blankets, bed sheets, cooking utensils, bucket and mug, towel, soaps etc. - $ 100
Cost of Cleaning up and Rebuilding a damaged home - $1,000
