Howard Gordon Family

On Monday, December 7th, the lives of the Gordon Family was forever changed.  Early Monday morning the Gordon family home caught fire and was burned down.  Despite heroic efforts made by Howard Gordon Sr., he was unable to save his 45-yr old son Howard Jr., as well as, their family home.  Mr. Gordon Sr. and his two grandsons also suffered severe injuries while trying to escape the flames that quickly engulfed the home.  And, to make matters worse, the home was not insured.

Over the years the Gordon family has suffered several devastating losses.  Prior to this house fire, the Gordon family had already suffered through the tragic loss of two of their four children in previous incidents and Mrs.  Gordon Sr., who lost her battle with cancer just two years ago.

Devastating can't begin to describe this family's loss.  Mr. Gordon Sr. lost his last surviving son, all of his belongings and his home in this disastrous fire.  Mr. Gordon, who is now caring for his three grandchildren,  is in need of a place to stay, clothing, hygiene supplies, money to assist with funeral arrangements and money to help rebuild their home.
