Hope On Foot is a brand new project working with local school districts and organizations to bring letters of hope and encouragement to children in uniquely difficult situations around Oklahoma, and very soon, across our great country.
Collinsville Public Schools, Broken Arrow Public Schools, Ronald McDonald Houses Charities of Tulsa and Lubbock, Oklahoma United Methodist Circle of Care, COTM West, and so many more jumping on board to make this happen!!!
I will be picking up the letters in person (having been written and drawn by hand by our very own local school children), loading them into my rucksack, and then carrying and delivering them on foot to some wonderful people who have decided to work with us. These organizations will be getting them directly into the hands of our own Oklahoma children who are in foster care around the state, while others will be given to the families of children being treated in hospitals around the country, starting with Tulsa, OK and Lubbock, TX. (Our first event from Collinsville’s Herald Elementary to the RMHC of Tulsa was a HUGE SUCCESS!!)
We will also have many letters still in our possession after delivering all that can be accepted after each pickup. These letters get the coolest method of delivery of all: they will be displayed and read during live showings each night here on this page, and hopefully soon on YouTube as well.
One more thing! When we give letters to our destination organizations, we would like to be able to give them a donation check as well...which is where this GoFundMe comes in :)
We will be using the funds for our operations (which includes a huge giveaway we have coming soon) and we will be passing along as much of the funds as possible to our partners so they can continue the amazing work they do!
LASTLY! I own two photo booths systems…and EVERY one of our partners, current and future, will enjoy the incentive of having these photo booths at their disposal at any event they out on (subject to availability of course) for next to nothing! If I can do the event for free I will, but I will charge no more than $100 for any event up to 4hrs!
We’re doing everything we can to make this as helpful as possible to everyone we can reach, and now we need everyone’s help to finally make it happen!
