Helping Refugees in Jordan

Helping Refugees in Jordan (HRJ), an affiliate of Mercy Corps, is a group of dedicated and experienced volunteers based in Jordan who are helping recognised local charities and NGOs deal with the large influx of refugees arriving in Jordan. In-kind donations are received, sorted and transported to distribution centres, skilled volunteers introduced to the right organisation, longer term more sustainable projects are being investigated. There is no political or religious agenda and all work is carried out in the spirit of humanitarianism regardless of religion or background. In Mafraq in particular, local charities have been dealing with refugees for over two years with little international support.

Your donation will go towards the items that are most needed by the refugees and underprivileged Jordanians who we are seeking to help. For example, through our winterisation campaign, we buy nearly new coats in bulk for about £2 per coat, keeping a child warm all winter long. Thanks to our partnership with Mercy Corps, we are able to deliver all of our donations, from family packs to hygiene packs to donations for persons with disabilities, directly to the beneficiaries without any overhead charge. 100% of your monetary donation will go straight to essential aid for refugees.
