"So it's a stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma. I am choosing to have a double mastectomy right away, with expandable implants and they test the lymph nodes while they are in there. If it has spread to them, I'll need targeted radiation and probably chemo too.."-this is just part of the text I received from a nurse who became a good friend. This amazing woman held my hand through many terrifying moments and cheered me & my darling son on through our health battles when all I had was just my mom & sisters. She is one of the most amazing people I have ever met, conversations we've had impacted my life is so many positive ways and I'm ever grateful to her. Now it's my turn to find a way to help her through this battle. She's a tough cookie! And an amazing single mom who would do anything for her handsome boys. She's about to fight a huge battle and anything you can donate will help her and her boys. 9/7/13 Update: Unfortunately the cancer spread to Kayte's lymph nodes but she's in high spirits and remaining strong! Thank you all for the support and donations. $5.00 & up gets you a "I support Kayte" bracelet just contact Rosy or Jillian and let them know and they'll ship em or deliver them to you! Also we had someone contact us and will be having a wig made for Kayte free of charge. You all are so amazing! Once again thank you! And lets continue to send positive thoughts and prayers to Kayte & her boys!

So lot's of people were questioning why it said money was going to me (Nicole G), I created this page for this amazing woman who helped me through my own personal health crisis and helped care and for my son.
Kayte has full access to the funds, not me.
For those asking about tax deductions, unfortunately when donating money to persons and not a charity it is not possible because the IRS can't monitor who really got the money.
Kayte was diagnosed with breast cancer after just recently changing jobs from one that had insurance to two part-time that don't offer insurance which means she's now forced to hold on to her insurance at a very high rate. So every dollar helps.
Those who have questions can email her and kayte will personally be able to contact you to verify this is legit. Please make sure to leave her your contact info such as full name & phone number.
