Help homeless lady shot in Asheville, NC

This GoFundeMe is for the homeless lady assaulted by a pellet rifle in Asheville, NC.

HAB founders Jody Williams and Carolyn Morgan have set up this fund in response to people reaching out wanting to help this homeless lady who was shot at while sleeping on the street, leaving her with serious injuries. HAB ran a $5,000 reward to find and expose the evil person(s) who committed this act. Because of an anonymous hero, the information about who committed the crime has been turned over to investigators. HAB members also wanted to help this lady. Before Peaches, our members’ focus was on helping the homeless in the Asheville area, including the homeless veterans at the Oteen veterans shelter. The suffering of the homeless compels HAB members, like Peaches and all the bears missing limbs have. We hope this terrible tragedy can be turned into a good ending for this lady who was treated with such evil. Many times, the homeless are maimed from the traps of mental and physical abuse or addiction. Like the suffering bears, they need us too. Together, we have a chance to make a difference to any down trodden and suffering we feel compelled to help.
