Help Dasny Build a Future – Support for Education, Family & Stability

Dasny is a young woman from Colombia with a resilient spirit and a heart full of love. Life hasn’t been easy for her—she's spent years juggling exhausting jobs while selflessly caring for her elderly, care-dependent grandmother and her father, who is fighting cancer. Her days are filled with responsibility, leaving little time or energy for her own dreams.

As her long-time friend, I’ve watched Dasny navigate overwhelming challenges with quiet strength. She lives with Borderline Personality Disorder, which adds emotional intensity to an already difficult life. Despite everything, she remains deeply motivated to change her situation—to learn, grow, and one day live independently and securely.

But without formal education or recognized work experience, her chances in Colombia are slim. She wants to break this cycle—not just for herself, but for her family too. Her cats are often the only source of comfort during her darkest moments, and even small setbacks can feel crushing.

We’re raising funds to support:

Education & Training: Vocational programs and language courses to give her the tools she needs for a stable future. Many of these are free—but time, transportation, and materials still cost more than she can manage alone.

Family Support: Her savings were wiped out during her father’s chemotherapy. As a result, Dasny and her family also accumulated debt.These debts must also be repaid, placing an additional strain on the family. Every bit of help now eases that burden and gives her breathing room to focus on building a better path forward.

Dasny has carried so much, for so long. This is a chance to finally give something back to someone who has always given everything she could to others.
