Send Hazel Miller Band to France

As a young girl, Hazel Miller would watch movies about D-Day with her father, a WWII veteran who helped liberate France from the Nazi invasion. His stories captivated and inspired her, and gave her a lifelong interest in the stories of the people who participated in "The Longest Day." 

Throughout her life, Hazel has dreamed of visiting the areas her father spoke of, meeting the people there, and hearing their stories. 

Through her involvement with Denver Police Activities League's Overlord Project, (a 501(c)(3) organization), Hazel and her band now have the opportunity to do just that! They've planned a trip for this June and have scheduled benefit performances in Normandy, Le Mans and Paris. 

Please help Hazel Miller and her 4 bandmates cover costs for their airfare and ground transportation ($8000) so that the people of France can enjoy this true "force of nature," Hazel Miller.

Any additional funds raised will benefit Denver PAL's Overlord Project, which introduces low-income Denver kids to the sacrifices made by the Greatest Generation and provides several students each year with the opportunity to visit Normandy, France, for an immersive educational experience.
