H.O.P.E. Project Training Manual Fundraiser

The H.O.P.E. Project www.hopeprojectdc.org is a 100% volunteer training program, The program receives no financial support from the federal government, city or state governments or corporations, it is truly 100% volunteer. Since 2009 we've helped dozens of young people become world class IT professionals. The average salary of a HOPE Project graduate is $35K a year, the average age of a graduate is 23. Our graduates in many cases are the first in their family to have a professional position, many of our graduates were TANF recipients. The program is a bright light in the community and the light is getting brighter. Our goal is to train 1,000 people with skills that will lead directly to a job. This is our first attempt at fundraising, until now we have simply made do with what we've had. The funds will be used to purchase training manuals, without the manuals we will have to continue to print the chapters each week. We prefer that we find 100 people to give $10, instead of 2 people giving $500 each. Our mission is to grow the movement through awareness and we want the community to be invested in the cause. THE HOPE PROJECT EMPOWERS YOUNG PEOPLE TO TAKE OWNERSHIP AND CONTROL OF THEIR OWN DESTINY.
