HOBL Ice Skating Rink

Hello Fellow Neighbors! Do you or your kids ice skating or have always wanted to try ice skating but have never had the convenience of a rink in your backyard? Well now is your chance!
Imagine coming down to the clubhouse, thermos full of hot cocoa, to socialize with neighbors, ice skate, watch our kids joyful faces and possibly a fun game of ice hockey under the lights!
The HOBL Board has approved us to build an ice skating rink over the basketball court during the winter months as long as it can be self funded.
This can be a reality, but we need residents to make a small investment! $6,000 is only $50 per family if 120 families pitch in ~ or if only 150 familes donate it's only $40. That's less than the cost of 1 family of 4 visit to the Campus Martius ice rink!
$6,000 covers the one-time up front costs to purchase an Extra-Large 40' x 80' EZRINK . This system is easy to assemble (60 minutes), does not damage underlying surfaces and breaks down to be stored on a pallet in the clubhouse .
Whether you use the rink every day or just believe it's a great amenity for our community, we need your help to achieve our goal! Don't have kids that will utilize it? Think of your donation as an amazing gift to the neighborhood kids!
