Mission Trip to Baltimore

I have an opportunity this summer, August 21-24 to join a missionary from Captivate Church in Baltimore, Maryland on a mission trip through the Center for Short Term Missions. On our trip we will band together to fulfill the evident needs of the people living in Baltimore. We will be ministering to at youth risk, feeding the homeless and at night working through "pretty in pink" ministering to prostitutes, showing the love of Jesus Christ and handing out backpacks filled with hygiene products etc to build relationships.

While God has opened up a door for me to develop a greater heart of compassion for His people around the United States, the exciting part is that you will be able to share in this compassion in several ways. First, you can help pray for me and my fellow short-term missionaries. We will need prayers that God will prepare us for our visit and bless our efforts as we minister to the people in Baltimore, Maryland. We will also need prayers that our financial needs will be met. At this time I need to raise $2300 to attend this trip for my friend and I, and that is quite a challenge!
