Can u imagine for a moment , sitting at a Roman Colosseum, that was once packed with cheering crowds so loud, a trumpet blast was used to silence them? Waiting impatiently for Gladiators armEd with swords and spears marching as they face the Emperors box , and chant "Hail Caesar"! Or walking through cathedrals and experiencing a three dimensional masterpiece created by the one and only Michelangelo? Maybe it would be freeing to finally visit a school (Montessori),where students can learn at their own pace instead of being expected to fit into a planned slot? How about dining at a local restaurant and enjoying a saucy Gnocchi dish just after taking a stroll on the water in a Gondola?
These are just a few adventures that my sister and I will have a chance to experience this summer. Hi, I'm Kamari (13), and my sister Kamryn (11) have both been chosen to travel to Spain and Rome Italy to study abroad for three weeks, with an Ambassadors' Program. One week of our adventure in Italy, we will have the opportunity to live with a host family for a week. We are asking for donations to make this a reality for us. All funding goes towards airfare, medical insurance, lodging, three meals daily, museum tours and daily excursions. No donation is too small or too large, and ALL DONATIONS are greatly appreciated.
