Help us raise money for orphans of Patiala! Spending three weeks in India, we will be teaching in classrooms, running self-esteem building activities, and empowering young girls to reach for a brighter future. Many of India's orphan girls face the bleak future as beggars, prostitutes and/or menial laborers. With your support, we hope to maximize the help we can offer these children.
Here is what your contributions will support:
40% towards building & stocking a LIBRARY at the orphanage.
30% donated directly to VolunteerInIndia program for needs.
20% purchasing supplies (art, medical, classroom)
10% assisting the Heinz sisters with program fees for India
100% Love, Kindness, and Growth with the children of Patiala!
As of right now, the orphanage library consists of several encyclopedias from 1967. Let's bring the kids up to date with updated materials, amazing literature, and an inspiration for reading!
