Let's Give A Kid A Smile - Together

With the global economic downturn, already harsh conditions for children in the Philippines have gotten worse. I moved here from Nevada four years ago and have always felt a need to help these kids wherever and whenever I could. You can only walk around these islands for so long, as a Westerner, without feeling compelled to do something for them. My limited personal resources have enabled me to do very little, but now, thanks to the combined generosity of good folks back home, together we are able to do much more.
The smiles on the faces of the children we are able to help is priceless, but the disappointment on the faces of those who were left out is like a knife to my heart. I am asking that you help me provide for more of the beautiful children in the villages that we visit. Ideally, I'd like to open a rice kitchen, where anyone under the age of 18 can eat three times a day for free. Together we can give the gift of a full stomach and a smiling face.
