On September 22, 2013, Rosy Gallegos entered the United States with her mother and younger sister asking for asylum. Rosy's mother and sister were parolled into the United States, but Rosy was sent to Eloy Detention Center. Her mother and her sister have been fighting to free Rosy from detention for 7 months. Wanting to do everything they can to be together, and worried about Rosy's health condition that is worsening while in detention, the family has participated in protests and hunger strikes around the country trying to shine the light on family separation and the cruelty of criminalizing and imprisoning innocent people. Rosy's mother has been in sanctuary for a month in St. Augustine cathedral in Tucson, AZ asking for support to free her daughter and denounce policies that imprison innocent people. Rosy has no criminal background, and she should be reunited with her family so that they can fight their asylum claim together. Please help us to raise the money to pay Rosy's bond and reunite her with her family!
El 22 de Septiembre 2013, Rosy Gallegos se entregó con su mamá y hermana menor a migración en los Estados Unidos para pedir asilo. Liberaron a su mamá y su hermana, pero a ella le mandaron al centro de detención en Eloy, Arizona. Su mamá y su hermana han estado luchando para liberar a Rosy del centro de detención por 7 meses.
