In early May Rod was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Grade 4.  We have been on a crazy journey in the last few months, but God and His people have been amazing!!!  Even though our life's journey has taken a sudden and unexpected change, we have seen the Lord's hand in preparing the way ahead of us.  The Lord has shown us His support through many generous people over these last few months.  First of all through your prayers, visits, phone calls, cards, meals, food, help cleaning our house and yard, and words of encouragement and support.  Many have even blessed us financially.  All of which we are eternally grateful! 

We we have come to realize and appreciate what a broad support network  we have.  Our families, our church family, Parklane Christian Reformed Church, and the scouting community, Troop 351 and Crew 351.  There are others too, please forgive us if we forgot to mention you by name.

We have had requests to set up a gofundme page.  
Rod has supported our family over the years and I (Ellen) have supported him in his business keeping books.  Right now the business is at a stand still.
We are just taking life one day at time.
