Fathers Rights Movement Fights Back

Donation protected

Divorced Mothers and Fathers: my name is Jon McLain, my daughter's name is Mia, and we need your collective help to fight an abusive ex-wife.

I was divorced in 2015, and at that time, my daughter was 3-years-old. My relationship with my ex was amicable, but in 2016, things took an unimaginable turn for the worse.

In 2015, I started a new relationship with my girlfriend, Holli, and in January of 2016 she let me know we were going to have a child. I was excited to share this information with my almost 4-year-old daughter. I told her the news, and we all were very excited for our growing little family. I returned my daughter to my ex-wife after the weekend, thinking all was normal. My sister had even stayed with my ex-wife the prior weekend, and she reported that my ex-wife was saying positive things about me, and thought we might even get back together.

This is when things got out of hand. My ex refused to allow me any contact with my daughter for fourteen days. Then a police officer arrived at my door, and he informed me that my ex-wife accused me of MOLESTING my 3-year-old daughter.

I requested a lie detector test immediately, and gladly answered all of their questions. I passed the lie detector test with a score of 11, when a score of 7 would have passed. Due to these false and malicious accusations, I was unable to see or talk to my daughter for four months. My ex-wife made an hour long video of herself inappropriately questioning my daughter. I asked a highly experienced and qualified psychologist from Gonzaga University to write a review of the videos, and she stated that the video depicted my ex psychologically abusing my daughter, and essentially brainwashing her. Multiple forensic interviews were conducted. CPS did an extensive investigation and concluded that there was no reason to believe my daughter was sexually abused. The family court judge stated that there was no reason to believe my daughter was sexually abused in any way, reprimanded my ex-wife’s behavior, and restored our parenting plan.

Proving my innocence and restoring my parenting plan cost me everything I had, what I could borrow from my family, and the bank.
Unfortunately, my ex-wife wasn’t satisfied with the judge’s response.

She has continued to coach my daughter to make multiple false statements. My ex has taken her to mandated reporters, (doctors, therapists, and school teachers), and this opened six more CPS cases against me, all of which were closed as unfounded.
When the false claims of sexual abuse wouldn’t stick, she changed her tactic and coached her daughter to say that, “I beat my infant son, and my girlfriend lets it happen”. This false accusation opened another CPS case against me and my girlfriend. Both cases were closed quickly as unfounded.

At this point, CPS suspects that my ex-wife has been coaching my daughter to make false statements, and they have opened an investigation against her. CPS suggested that I should fight for custody for the psychological welfare of my daughter, and has also stated that they are willing to testify on my behalf.

Ladies and gentlemen of the Father's Rights Movement: I am begging for your financial support in this matter.

I have attempted to fight without a lawyer in court, but have found that I am too emotionally invested and devastated to be effective.
I am asking for your financial support so I can fight for a change of placement, and to prove malicious intent on my ex-wife’s part.
I have a very strong case, with a significant amount of evidence, showcasing my ex-wife’s malicious and abusive behavior.

With your help, my case can set a new precedence for all of us. It will help family courts recognize that some women make false statements of child abuse in an effort to destroy the other parent’s relationship with their child. My ex-wife doesn’t understand that in addition to hurting me, she’s hurting her daughter far more. I strongly believe that behavior like this should be classified as a criminal act, and we must unite financially to make it happen.

I am attempting to raise $30,000 for legal fees. All remaining funds will be donated to another worthwhile family in need, or to the Father's Rights Movement.

If each of you could reach out to my family with a contribution of ($1) one dollar, I could afford to keep on fighting for my daughter.  In addition, I will raise funds to fight this injustice for other families.

Let us unite our finances and start fighting injustice together.

It is only a dollar - Please Help!

Sincerely,

Jon and Mia McLain
