We are passionate students who are planning a trip to Port-Au-Prince, Haiti from July 1st- July 9th 2013 to assess the feasibility of our project Ambrosia. Our goal is to find innovative ways to bring food to the people of Haiti because the food insecurity crisis is threatening the lives of nearly 3 million people worldwide.

The purpose of our trip is to determine how we can create social and economical change in Haiti by introducing sustainable agricultural solutions such as permaculture to help rebuild the agricultural sector in Haiti while also allowing Haiti to produce more food internally rather than having to import. The rising prices of food have led to higher malnutrition rates. Our mission is to determine how we can address this problem.
