It is with such grief that I create a GoFundMe page for my daughter DORAI NACOLE HARRIS. Dorai's life was violently taken on July 12, 2021, at just 21 years old as she was shot multiple times in Meyers Court in McKees Rocks, PA. I am struggling with comprehending the heartbreak and grief all while trying to come to the realization that my daughter was senselessly taken from me so soon and in such a horrific way. Our hope is to offer a reward in an effort to remove ALL INVOLVED permanently from the street, making the individual/s stand trial for this vicious crime committed. PLEASE help us bring peace and justice to our family and to those who are heartbroken by Dorai's loss by identifying her attacker and bringing the violent individual to justice.

I'M PLEADING with ANY & EVERYONE who has ANY information and/or tips of any kind whether it's cell phone video, camera surveillance, etc in regards to this ongoing homicide investigation, PLEASE keep them coming & contact the Allegheny County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Your tip will/can remain ANONYMOUS. Tips lead to an arrest and a stronger conviction and a strong building is what we are seeking. If everyone doesn't step forward, the cycle of violence will continue. You seen something , it's time for everyone to say something, do the right thing. This could happen to anyone. Please do the right thing don't let it continue to haunt your heart. It's a quicker solvable crime by everyone coming forward with pertinent key information if the resources are allocated.
Dorai was such a beautiful soul with the most incredible spirit. Fashion was her passion. It was her form of self-expression which led her to photograph and capture her pure beauty effortlessly. She enjoyed traveling, was a travel enthusiast & loved to get away and sit on the beaches. Our little mermaid is what she was. She had a full life ahead of her to live and a vicious person just ended it. I miss my beautiful baby tremendously.
When Dorai's life was senselessly taken, she was working towards her dream and was in the process of learning the steps to becoming a nail salon owner. She was mentoring others all while still learning herself. Dorai recently attended Kittanning Beauty Academy and successfully completed the course of study and training in all branches of the KBA Nail Technology Program, earning her diploma in April of 2021. She was committed and was very adamant and persistent about pursuing her passion for nails and dreamed of becoming a top nail tech. I praise my daughter's effort and will dedicate my life pursuing her goal by one day opening a nail salon/mentorship program in her honor, I will follow in her footsteps where she left off.
While praying for Dorai's justice, if the murderer is arrested or apprehended by any other means or if the goal amount is exceeded, then the reward money can be returned, I will remain dedicated in helping other victims of senseless violence & I will/can gracefully use as support towards opening a Nail salon in Dorai's honor to help keep her memory, goal and dream alive, I cant fathom nor will I let my daughters dream die with her.
