Help KW Woman's Relatives, Mostly Children, Leave Gaza

The past 8 months have been devastating for my friend and her family as they continue to watch the horrors unfold for their loved ones in Gaza. Day after day, atrocity after atrocity, they wait with heart-wrenching worry and helplessness as their Gazan brothers and sisters are told by Israel they must leave or face the consequences even though there is nowhere to go.

My friend is the daughter of two Palestinians who emigrated to Kuwait and subsequently to Canada when she was 6 years old. Her father’s siblings remained in Gaza all this time, his sister and brother as well as their children and grandchildren. Many members of her family have been murdered as a result of the ongoing aggression, including 3 young boys, and her aunt. That’s without taking into account all of the injured and murdered men in her family who left widows behind. Her uncle, a senior, now finds himself having to support two of his daughters and their children, and not a single home left amongst them all to seek shelter in. 

Anything you can do to give them the opportunity to rebuild their lives would be incredibly appreciated. 

Your financial support would be used to evacuate 17 surviving members of her family from Gaza: 7 adults, 1 teenager and 9 children under the age of ten, who are displaced, facing starvation and under constant assault. Any money that is fundraised will go directly towards their evacuation to Egypt which will cover their passage out of Gaza, flights, accommodation and refuge in Egypt.
