Don had been in and out of nursing homes and hospitals from February through May. I brought him home May 7th, but he wound up back in the hosptial 2 weeks later with CHF.  His diagnosis is CHF amd Steroid Myopathy. The meds that helped him all his life, turned on him and he was totally paralyzed. He is doing a bit better, able to use his arms a little but is having extensive physical therapy and occupational therapy. He is having to learm ow to do everything again. He was bedbound, but now getting up in the wheelchair more. He camnot get out if the house for Dr. appts, due to getting him down the stairs. We need ramps, a wheelchair accessible van. Not to mention bills are piling up,  prescriptions and medical supplies. He is strong minded and is determined to get back as much as he can.
