One of the hardest things I've ever had to write...
Brave and strong, Debbie has lived with a very tough and horrible disease for the last 15 years. There were times we knew she was winning, there were times we could tell that she was not. She has maintained her exceptional knack to see the positive, even after it has knocked her to the ground time after time. As we can all guess, Debbie (aka Eber, Feber, Eber-Head, Eebs, Debbie Dooooo) continues to be a fighter and a beam of shining light through it all. Well or not, Debbie always makes the best of the days that fulfill the life she created so far from her childhood home. She makes a point to celebrate each and every day in some way, whether tending to her gardens, raising her daughter or sharing stories and laughing with others.
Sadly, I must report that Debbie is considering that she is quickly nearing the end of her life. Which is why I'm asking for your help. Even through the toughest, Debbie has managed well with her finances. She is tough! But latest treatments and hospital stays have left her uneasy, especially financially.
I'm hopeful that our friends will donate to this fund so that Debbie will rest, quiet and calm, as she enters hospice and her final days approach. I'm hoping she can afford to leave this life with a sense of peace about the young daughter she will leave behind. And I'm hoping her daughter will have the financial support to transition into her next phase of life, one without her mother.
All donations will go toward Debbie's end-of-life plan and remaining funds will help pay for Karlyn's new life plan. Please give what you can, whether money or prayers and positive thoughts to this family as they manage and move towards this next stage in their lives.
