Muslim Mums Helping The Nisa Foundation

A shocking domestic violence case recently came to our attention, as you know. The victim and her small children were homeless after being traumatised, physically and emotionally for years. Where no other service providers could - or wanted to - protect the family, a small group of Muslims mums came together to fill this crucial gap.
Led by an experienced women’s aid worker, the team of mums have formed The Nisa Foundation. Alhamdulillah, we are so grateful to be able to say, the victim and her children are now safe, sheltered and on their path to healing. The various legal, law enforcement and social services are now kicking in, with The Nisa Foundation holding the victim's hands through it all.
There are countless cases like this. Each one is unique and can be extremely complicated. Many do not have happy endings but YOU can help change that. This Ramadan, The Nisa Foundation is asking friends and family to raise £1 or more each day. Our volunteers will continue to provide the manpower while 100% of your funds will go towards providing vulnerable victims of domestic violence with basic necessities. This is especially critical in the initial days of fleeing their abusers, before the social services can intervene.
We have special collection tins you can use to make your collection this Ramadan. These tins can be collected from Whitechapel, EAST LONDON. For alternative arrangements, please contact us.
