Our friends, Jen and Corey have been trying to have kids for years. After numerous tests it was discovered that neither of them would be able to produce a child naturally. As a result they saved all the money they possibly could for ONE chance at IVF. They were blessed with a miracle around Christmas: she was indeed pregnant, with TWINS. As you can imagine everyone was beyond thrilled with this miracle.
However, I am sad to report that 1 of the twins (Connor Aaron) mysteriously passed away a couple weeks ago (7/20). Mom has been on bed rest at the Hospital for the past 6+ weeks, so this tragedy has come as a complete surprise. Even the doctors are not sure what has happened at this point.
We have started a fund to assist Jen and Corey in paying for the memorial and burial for their precious angel they never got to meet (my heart is literally braking as I type this). Anything above and beyond the burial costs will be used to start a college fund for Hunter. If any of you are able to help, I will be forever grateful.
UPDATE: Hunter Kim Kramer made his long awaited debut on July 29, 2014 at 6:54 pm weighing 4 lbs 9 oz and 18.5 inches long. He is doing very well, but since he was over 5 weeks early he will have to spend some time in the NICU and we are unsure how long he will have to stay there.
