Chemotherapy support for Alexa

Hi, I'm Alexa's dad, Steve, and I'm setting up this fund for Alexa and her upcoming cancer treatment therapy. She had surgery to remove a large, rare tumor called rhabdomyosarcoma on Monday Oct16 and Oncology is now prescribing 9months of chemotherapy administered by Children's Hospital in Seattle to prevent recurrence.

Alexa lives in Bellingham with her son Noah (7) and her grandmother.

The chemo is going to wear her out and beat up her immune system. She will need immune system rebuilding after chemo, but this immuno-therapy is not covered by her insurance. Her insurance is basic and there will be uncovered expenses including temporary housing, transportation, immune system therapy.

She wants to live and continue to be a good mother to her son Noah.
