Casa Hogar Elim is an orphanage in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.  As a church group we travel there several times yearly and help financially with the children there.  We raise money to buy food and supplies for the kids there.  On my last trip in December 2012 we were one of two groups volunteering at the time.  Instead of the sleeping in the usual "American" area we stayed in the small boys area and slept on their beds.  I know God did this to open my eyes to the need these kids have for new mattresses!  These kids sleep every night on old dilapidated mattresses.  The springs are showing, they have stains everywhere and there is no telling what bugs and mites live in them.  No one should have to sleep on that especially a child.  This broke my heart and I realized we needed to do something.  I found a company that makes camp mattresses they are waterproof, stain resistant, bug resistant etc.  They are also light weight and easier to transport than regular mattresses.  In order to replace the mattresses for the children we need to raise $10,000.00.  We will be doing fundraisers and looking for sponsorship's.  Please pray and seek God's direction in how you can financially help with this need!  Thank you and God bless!
