Bucks for Brody

Andrew and Kristina Douglas welcomed a precious baby boy on the 29th of June. Brody Barton Douglas was born 5 weeks early at 4 pounds 12 ounces and has still been calling the NICU his home. He is getting stronger and stronger, but is still having some trouble eating on his own. He is only eating half of the amount that he needs, and is having to be fed mostly through a feeding tube. Kristina had unknowingly been leaking fluid for a few days before her water broke which caused Brody to get an infection. The pregnancy was difficult for her with Brody wanting to make a very early appearance, which placed her on bedrest and medication after multiple days in the hospital.
Mommy and baby are doing well now, but the medical bills for this family are starting to pile up. We are hoping to raise a few "bucks" so that we can help them take care of the expenses. Andrew just recently got hired at the Mason County Fire Department and so with the help of his fellow employees, friends, and family we are trying to help them out as much as possible. We are holding a rummage sale with baked goods, clothes, furniture, appliances and any items that would like to be donated to raise money. His fellow firefighters will also be there to help out and take pictures with children and families.
