Extreme winter conditions and needed repairs leave an elderly congregation in need of help.

The Brick Church of Dighton, MA is an independent, bible believing church. The building itself is over 250 years old and is located in a beautiful country setting. The congregation is small and made up primarily of elderly families on fixed incomes. They have been together for decades. When their pastor resigned they chose to stay together as a congregation. They love the Lord. They love their church. For about a year they prayed and worshipped together in a desire to keep the doors opened.
Recently they have been blessed with a new pastor who comes with a word of encouragement and a plan to grow the church. As a result they have a renewed hope and enthusiasm for their future.
However, over the past few years they have struggled in keeping up with the maintenance and repairs of the building. This past, brutal winter has left these precious senior citizens with an extremely high heating bill.
The monies raised here will be used to pay off the oil bill from this past winter, as well as servicing the furnace and tending to some much needed repairs to the building.
They need a helping hand. No amount given is too small.
