Brittie's Support & Aid '15- TNBC

Please meet Brittany, a wonderful woman faced with an enormous challenge and in need of our help.
I'm Carmine, Brittany's boyfriend and I am seeking support on Brittie's (as I call her) behalf. Brittie and I met late summer 2012 and both of our lives were instantly better. We started dating a week before she was dx'd with triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). At only 27 years 2 months old, the odds of this dx at this age are equivalent to winning the lottery twice, in a row. Brittie came to me that night with the news and at that point we decided that we were going to team up and beat this. We cried, we laughed and we geared up for a long journey.
How? Brittie's job is to stay positive and never give up. In return, I am her backbone and right by her side. If you wonder why such a strong woman needs a backone, well, not only is a support system essential while fighting this disease but Brittie also has two titanium rods in her back as a result of surgery at 16 years old to correct her scoliosis, seriously.
Brittie started chemotherapy in Novemer 2012, has had three surgeries, spent (6) weeks alone, (2) hours from home to undergo 26 rounds of radiation after her BC returned (8) months post mastectomy which has metastasized to her liver and lungs. We are holding strong and last month learned that her c was shrinking and she was improving.
While the news could not be more inspiring and exciting, two years + into this battle we are faced with a numer of financial obstacles. Can you imagine fighting for your life, having to travel 2+ hours in Northern Ontario in the dead of winter to and from chemo treatments, and having to pay for it?
We need your assistance. We believe in the power of prayer and positive energy. Please keep Brittie and her support team in your thoughts and prayers. We love her so much and when you all get your chance to meet her I promise you it will inspire you and change your life.
For those that are able, please assist with a modest contributiuon. A single dollar will warm her heart after we convince her to take it which is a whole other battle on its own :)
