Justice for Vincent #BringVincentHome

I got pregnant with Vincent in 2016 he was born April 19,2017 a big healthy baby boy 9lbs 8.6 ozs. While in the hospital his father asked that a “friend” could come visit him of course I said yes who doesn’t love babies. To my surprise I found myself in a room with a 17 yr old female “friend” I had never met nor heard about. His parents warned me to keep her away it was trouble. Trying to be an adult who had 5 kids didn’t think much of it. He would ask if she could come by from time to time and help “watch the kids while we got cleaning done” I know at 17 I loves babies so I agreed. Time went on in October we began to fight more and more then he left. I then found out the 17 yr old was now 18. We didn’t hear from him for days at a time no calls or texts to see how our son was. Come December they fought he begged to come home I agreed and we started making plans to move to North Carolina we came to North Carolina looked at houses we we’re going to put the past behind us and we were going to start fresh... so I thought... then she reappeared. June 28,2018 we went to court he was awarded visits however if he could not be there he was not to leave Vincent alone with her. ( they were both mean to Vincent would push him over and tell him to shut up and curse at him) I moved to N.C. in July I was continuing on with my original plans my kids were excited to start fresh in a new area. In July he picked up Vincent for his visit and refused to return him until we went to court again 9/27/2018 we then got 50/50. The next year went fairly well as far as the visits he did file for emergency custody a few times which was denied. The following September 2019 his father picks up for his visit and again refuses me my time until the next court date 1/9/2020 his reasoning? I WAS PREGNANT!!! Yes I was I had my next baby boy 12/11/19 just because I was pregnant was no reason to keep my son from me. His excuse was that until I could drive myself I couldn’t see him. I had a few people willing to drive me to MD to pick up. ( I had several problems with the pregnancy and dr didn’t want me to drive) Vincent got to meet his baby brother finally Jan 9th :) dad picked back up Feb 29th ( I kept him an extended time for some make up time) at the January hearing dad somehow managed to get residential custody so Vincent could attend school. He was to have him the school year I got all breaks all summer and 2 weekends a month. His father kept him Feb29- May 23rd only returning him bc I had filed contempt and he was served his reasoning? COVID we got to enjoy all summer long with him ( the best we could with everything closed) went on a weeklong camping trip and I even got married!!! Vincent was an amazing ring bearer and pulled his baby brother in a wagon :) so dad picked back up August 14th. I was supposed to get him Sept 4th-7th as it’s a school break but was denied. I was to get him 2 additional visits in September (with a 2 week notice) everytime I asked for him I was told “were busy we have plans” so here we are today Sept 25th and it’s been another 6 weeks gone by that I haven’t seen him. I rarely get to talk to him maybe once a week for 5 mins or less. If you do the math that’s 134 days I’ve had with him in the last 365. So I have filed to reopen the case do another contempt as well as another modification of custody. This time I need to get a lawyer. I need to fight for my son. His father is nothing but lies he withdrew him from school after getting upset bc I called the school they had him registered at and had some stuff fixed I wasn’t on anything they had the girlfriend listed as “mom” I was non existent. So if your still with me I’ve called around to different child custody lawyers in Calvert County MD and they are all asking for $5,000 plus retainer fees. I need to get justice for Vincent he’s got 5 siblings he doesn’t get to see due to his father constantly keeping him against our court order. This man child NEEDS to finally be held accountable for his actions!!! Stop letting him get away with everything. He did get a contempt for claiming him on taxes one year when it wasn’t his year. He never did the Co parenting classes. He does as he wishes and there’s never been consequences. Thank you for your time. If we can get 1,200 people to donate just $5 we will reach our goal!
