I believe God has a plan for us all, for our future and our lives. He has given me the talent of carpentry and construction. All of our gifts are to be shared with the world. I have been looking for an avenue to be able to use my talents and I'm so thrilled to have found one!
Mission:
I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel to Cambodia this fall and use my skills in carpentry and construction to build an upscale salon for women who have been rescued from sex slavery and human trafficking. These women will have a chance at freedom by receiving an education from The Trade, an organization that exists to empower women in developing nations through hair styling and makeup. I am so excited to use my God-given gifts to give to a community of women that deserves more than anything to know the love of The Lord.
My mission will actually begin now. During these months before I leave for Cambodia, I will be designing the layout of the salon. My vision is to create a space for these women to feel safe, to live out their dreams, and have a dignified life and learn.
Support:
As this is my first missions trip overseas, I am in need of your support. First and foremost I need prayer. Prayer for safety and covering.
Second, I need support in finances. My goal is to raise $3,500 which will cover my flight, accommodations, food, and transportation while in Cambodski.
