Bless “The Blind Mop Guy “ X-mas

Sebastian is his name and selling mops and brooms is his game . He has been doing this for several years as a way to provide for his family . He is completely blind but that has not stopped him from doing what he can to provide for his family . I went to school with him and he was always happy and just a delight in every way . He has faced his share of challenges with finances due to his disability and had many struggles with his children of which 1 has ASD (Autism) . Sebastian is not one to ask for hand outs and always is willing to work or sell things to provide . He lives a simple life and strives to provide to the best of his ability for his family . I really want to bless him and his wife and 3 kids and when I reached out to him to ask him what the ages and sizes of his kids , below is what he sent me back.


“I have a two-year-old girl a four-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy. The two younger ones are into Mickey Mouse in Disney characters stuffed animals and toy cars the older one is into sports jerseys local ones. Asked to my wife and I we are OK. Thanks man I appreciate The thought. PS we are always traveling to Mexico. If you have extra blankets, towels, or other items that you would like to get rid of we would gladly take him to people who need them.”

I asked him what him or his wife NEEDED And he said he is “ok” . What an amazing heart and sense of humility he has . Let’s come together to bless them in a way that will lift him and God up .

He had tried recently to sign up for a gift program at Salvation Army for his kids but there was a paperwork mix up and they missed the opportunity. (see the video)

I will be collecting items locally so please reach out to me with any questions and I can set up a time or place to give physical gifts . I am really looking forward to giving him and his family 100% of the money raised . I will not take anything from this .
